Filters have the function of filtering particles, condensate and oil in the compressed air, with the aim of protecting pneumatic components and achieving specified cleanliness classes.

There are various filter stages for this purpose:

• Coarse filter/water separator - 5 to 40 μm
• Pre-filter - 0.3 µm
• Ultra-fine filter - 0.01 μm
• Activated carbon filter - oil vapor

With the help of pressure regulators or pressure reducers, the operating pressure can be reduced to the level required for the individual application or downstream components.

The efficiency of a system is significantly influenced by pressure regulators in addition to the safety of the system. They always set the optimum pressure required for operation. Excessively high pressures mean unnecessary energy costs and, in some cases, unnecessarily high wear on downstream components.

Our weather and corrosion-resistant regulators in the Standard series are certified for pressure applications up to 50 bar and are therefore perfect for use on the high seas.
