Development & History
From a one-man company to market leader – that's the best way to describe the development of Knocks FLUID-Technik GmbH. Heinz Knocks founded the company in 1970 and it is still run by the family to this day. Starting out as a small project in a basement room, the company has developed to become an international operation with an unbroken stream of product innovations that continues to grow through the constant yearning to research of a true technology leader. That's exactly how our striving for perfection in quality management continually grew. In 2004 the company gained ISO 9001:2000 certification as a logical consequence. Our state-of-the-art machinery and expert employees have enabled us to maintain this level of quality up to the present day and we continue to improve on it every day.
Team & Employees
We are proud of the outstanding quality of the products that we ship from our company, which is also due, of course, to the great commitment of our employees. Approximately 200 employees are currently engaged in production, assembly, shipping, purchasing, development, sales and marketing in Selm – a large team that takes our customers' issues both personally and seriously. This optimal number of staff enables us to complete projects within a short time. Our experienced teamwork means we are also able to implement more complicated projects with great efficiency. At KNOCKS, each employee is familiar with the work of their colleagues, enabling them to plan correspondingly with foresight and think ahead. That is what we call teamwork!
Location & Plants
The company headquarters in Selm offers our customers everything they need from one source: This is where we develop, design, produce and sell our pressure regulators, filters and lubricators, minimising the time spent on product development and a direct link between research and practical use. Our customers benefit every day from the resulting fast, favourable response times, also made possible due to the very latest production machinery and QA systems. Electronic testing equipment and 3D CAD systems are just two examples.
