Information on Data Protection
1. Personal data
We only collect, process and use your personal data with your consent or if this is permitted through a legal provision. We only collect, process and use the personal data required for the execution of and mobilization of our services or those which you provide voluntarily for us.

Data which we have collected on our websites will at no time be transmitted to any third party.
2. Collection and processing of data by means of cookies on visiting our website
Cookies are small text files stored on the user’s computer when visiting a website. They enable us to analyse your use of our website or to optimise access to our websites (e.g. to adapt the width of the websites to your computer screen). They do not contain any personal data.
Cookies store every access to our Internet services under www.knocks.de in a protocol file. The following data is stored there:

- Exit pages
- The requesting computer’s browser and plug-ins used

- The operating system on the requesting computer

We do not forward this usage data to any third party. Instead of this, we merely evaluate it for statistical purposes as soon as the data is no longer technically required. During this process, the data is anonymised and then deleted. The data is only combined with other data sources in the case described in paragraph 4 of this Information on Data Protection.
Most of the cookies we use are so-called “session cookies”, which are automatically deleted from your computer after your visit. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses.

4. Collection and use of data using our “Log-in area”
If you place an order with us, we will collect and store the data required for executing the subject of the contract, such as your name, address, telephone number, Email address etc. (so-called inventory data). In addition to this, we will provide you with a customer number and a password. This data enables you to view price lists and information on our products in our log-in area under www.knocks.de.
If you log in to our website with your customer number and the password, we will obtain the information listed under paragraph 2 via the protocol file. You hereby declare your explicit consent with our combining your inventory data with the previously collected anonymous usage data to form a user profile and the analysis of these for statistical purposes when you make use of the log-in area. The usage data is deleted regularly, every four weeks at the latest.
5. Using the portal “PARTcommunity”
A service provided by our business partner CADENAS Konstruktions-, Softwareentwicklungs- und Vertriebs GmbH (hereinafter referred to as CADENAS) is integrated into our websites. Under http://b2b.partcommunity.com/community/, CADENAS offers “PARTcommunity CAD models” which you can use to download three-dimensional models of our products and use them for your own purposes.
6. Withdrawal of consent, deletion of data, information
If you gave your consent for the collection and processing of personal data, you can withdraw this at any time with future effect by sending us a corresponding declaration.
If you wish, we will correct, delete or block your data based on a corresponding declaration as long as this is compatible with the legal periods of retention. Moreover, you have the right at any time to obtain information on your personal data stored, its origin and its recipient as well as the purpose of storage.

7. Duration of data storage
Unless otherwise specified in this information on data protection, the data will only be stored as long as is necessary for the provision of our services. Sometimes, longer data storage may be required due to statutory or legal obligations.

We have taken technical and organisational security measures to protect your data, in particular against loss, manipulation or unauthorised access. We regularly adapt our security measures to keep up with the continuous technical developments.
